Got my first tattoo from Bridgeport Tattoo Co. Had the best experience coming from a person who knows nothing about what to look for etc. Mr Black was able to sit down with me & speak to me about my design and any alterations he thought of that would suit me and my liking. The pricing for tattoos are reasonable compared to other highly known tattoo shops in Chicago. I went on a Tuesday night with 2 people in front of me, I didn't need an appointment. If you are looking for a tattoo shop that is clean, the staff friendly and patient to work with you and your design, price is reasonable..stop in to visit Mr. Black. Hands down best first time experience.

Went in for an old school eagle tattoo and talked to Ricky Bird about it. He was very easy going, took the time to talk to me and had a lot of knowledge. I came back the next week and he did a great job. The shop is clean and has tons of flash, a very traditional shop that does not have all the hollywood crap or drama you see on TV. I really appreciate the work Ricky did and hope to see him for my next one down the road. The shop charges a fair price and the quality of work is great.

This is a great place to get a tattoo. I found it on yelp and chose it within minutes, so I didn't expect much. I had a whim to get my first tattoo and the two guys there were very comfortable and cool, if I ever get another tattoo I will definitely go to them and only them.

Devin at BTC owns half my arm! Dude is amazing and every other person in that place makes it feel like home. I have been in numerous shops over the years and I can tell you that when walking into BTC you feel very welcome! Not like other shops where all the "cool kids" stare at ya when you walk in. The guys are all really open minded and give insight to one anothers work which I really like as well. They are also the most reasonably priced shop I have ever been to and friendliest.

So, I had been thinking of getting a tattoo since I was like 7. And after doing some extensive research I ended up deciding on BTC. Devin did my tattoo, am I'm ecstatic about it.... I gave him an idea and he ran with it. I'm glad he did. He kept me distracted, he sang for me, tried to feed me granola bars and cookies, and gave me an excellent tattoo. What more could a girl want?

They have an open mind to different designs and if you aren't sure what you want they work with you to create your perfect tattoo. In my experience, I found letting the tattoo artist create a design for me has always been unique and personal. I have recommended friends to the shop who have all been extremely satisfied with their work. The staff provide a welcoming environment where you feel like you are hanging out with friends not just getting a tattoo. I hope to see the shop continue with their success.
